BLITZINFORMATION, an ‘art service’, was launched in London in 1973, inviting questions from anyone and promising to supply important new information in response, very quickly (but the ‘new information was never obviously relevant to the query). It generated new projects like the Index of Numbers, the ‘fot’ instruments, the average measurement survey, the ‘fot’ calendar, and the multiple name-changing Klaos Oldanburg Project. It was created by Stephan Kukowski and Adam Czarnowski.
Blitzinformation’s Department ‘fot’ Science was headed by W E Brunch, and in 1975 George Brecht became co-curator of the Brunch Museum (with Kukowski).
